Sausage San Choy Bow
Ingredients
- 1 pkt Dan & Steph Three Aussie Farmer Sausages any flavour, skins taken off
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1/2 onion finely diced
- 2 cm piece of ginger grated
- 2 tbs sweet soy sauce
- 2 tbs soy sauce
- 1 garlic clove grated
- 1 tbs sesame oil
- 1 lettuce your choice
- 1 bunch coriander to serve
- 1 red chilli finely sliced to serve
- 1/2 red capsicum finely sliced to serve
- lime wedges to serve
Notes
1. In a large fry pan add some olive oil & over high heat add the sausage meat only, discarding the skins
2. Brown off for a few minutes, breaking up in the pan with a wooden spoon
3. Add the garlic, onion & ginger – saute for 3-4 mins until the sausage meat is all cooked
4. Add the sweet soy, soy & sesame oil – stir well & allow to reduce the liquid until all soaked up
5. Build your sausage san choy bow – add sausage mix to a lettuce leaf, top with capsicum, chilli, coriander & a squeeze of lime
